Wifey was scrambling, the dog was a louse.
She hung the stockings on the mantle with care,
Wrapping the contents for hubby's, leaving hers bare.
The reindeer were grouped just below with a tree,
Leaving just enough room for some pinecones, you see.
The sparkly trees left glitter all over the house,
Which she quickly chased down, threatening to vacuum even her spouse.
Each tree went up, the white one quite quickly,
Sadly, the big one's lights proved to be sickly.
Wifey saved it with tulle, and lots of it!
And Christmas came to Turnberry Love, the cheer poured on quite thickly.
With a crick in her back, wifey proclaimed:
The presents are wrapped, the cute Christmas cards framed,
I do believe it's time, she explained,
For us all to gather together and thank our Savior once more -
Christmas reminds us all what it's all for:
To love, and to give, while the Christchild we adore.
